Classy Mother's Day

My friend Louise wanted a classy Mother's Day card, so the first lady that popped into my head was Winestool Nikki, she has class alright.

I have coloured her with spectrum noir pens and added GD to her dress and the glass, a little clear star sakura for the silver on the stool.

The DP is from Nana's nursery, I embossed around Nikki with a Docrafts frame and then matted to some teal then cream CS, I added a doily border using my MS punch, added the aqua Tulle tied in a bow and added a pearl brad.

Finished off with some pearls, flowers, the circle sentiment is from Hobby paleis and the love you is computer generated.

The image is from Digistamp Boutique called Blooming Lulabelle.

I have coloured with promarkers and a little prisma pencils, added some GD.

The DP is from Dovecraft, I added a scallop border using my MS punch and some pink organza ribbon, to finish I added some pearls and flowers.

The sentiments from top to bottom are LOTV, computer generated and pink petticoat.

Magnolia Wedding card

I have had this Bride couple stamp for a while but wanted a few background stamps to go with it and that's why I haven't used it yet.

The stamps are called Church Window and Loving Bridal couple. I have coloured with a mixture of promarkers for the skin and he outfits and prisma's for the hair and shading and then I cut the image out because I dropped a pen on it and couldn't get it to work so had to cut it out. I also added some GD. That gorgeous pop out butterfly border is my ne MS punch bought today in the sale, I LOVE it, I have added some pearls to the center of the butterflies. The DP is from the paper cellar and I added a doily. Finished off with a pink ribbon and flower, some more pearls and the sentiments are from my stash (top) and LOTV (bottom).

Wedding Card

This card is a request from my Boss Sue

Her friends are getting married soon.

I decided to use a Karens Doodles image called Here comes the bride and what a coincidence that I have a stamp with those exact words lol, so it had to go on the card.

I have coloured with prisma pencils and blended with Sansodor and added a ~~little~~ lot of GD, some Sakura clear star for her necklace and earrings and a pearl. I matted to some cream then white glitter CS. The DP's are form Dovecraft (floral) and the paper cellar. I have added a heart border using a MS punch some pink ribbon tied in a bow and a pearl flower attached. I finishedoff with a mixture of flowers bought from Ebay, some pearls. The bottom sentiment is another stamp from high hopes and the rest of the sentiments are computer generated.

The card is for a friend at work, he wanted a bear on his Mother's Day card and this is the perfect image.

I have coloured in with prisma pencils blended with Sansodor and added a little GD, matted to cream CS, spot DP and I added a scallop border at the bottom, a few pearls and the circle sentiment. The DP is from Nana's Nursery and Dovecraft. Iadded a big lilac ribbon and bow and sewed a crochet flower to the center. I finished off with extra pearls, a MS butterfly, a die cut glitter flower and the other sentiments are computer generated.

Aaah ain't this just the sweetest little Bab, He is a digi from Di's digi downloads called Babesaurus, I have coloured him with prisma pencils and blended with Sansodor and added some sakura glaze to his dummy and sakura clear star pen to the poppers on his babygro, I cut out withh a circle nellie die and matted to a star x-cut die and added the fabric heart. The border is a star MS punch, I have added some ribbons and tied in a bow, the bottom sentiment and the one under the bow are both from Pink Petticoat the top one is from my stash. I finished off with some pearls and card candi.

For my card I have used this fab image called Babies Smile and I have used a frame from create with TLC to frame it. The image is coloured with promarkers and a little prisma pencil, I matted to some pink gingham CS, the DP is from Forever friends. I added a gorgeous ribbon and a pearl brad, some pink flowers and some pearls. The sentiment is from LOTV and this is matted to a die from memory box.

BMX Billy

I have a boy's card to share this afternoon

The image is from Di's digi downloads, he is called BMX Billy.

I have coloured him with prisma pencils blended with Sansodor and a little sakura clear star for the spokes on his wheels and his ipod. I pricked some holes around him and then matted to some black then blue CS, The fab DP is from K & Company called Hopscotch, I added some Kraft to the bottom and top of the card and a star and some buttons. The sentiment strip is from Pink Petticoat and the stamp at the top is from LOTV, the tabs are computer generated by me and die cut using a die-namics die.

My first Christmas card of 2012

This is my first Christmas card of 2012!!!!

I have used a stamp from LOTV called Christmas Dance, I have coloured in with promarkers and embellished with fun flock and GD, then used my woodware scallop circle punchs to matt and layer her. The DP is from Dovecraft. I have used a marianne sleigh die and added a pink heart to this, Some white tulle is tied in a bowand a snowflake added, the bottom sentiment is from dreate with tlc i think and the top leftone is again from LOTV and I have computer generated the name and then stamped over this with the stamp, I think this is a great idea to personalise the card.

I guess I am in to Birds at the moment, this Digi is from Heart song designs called Birds and roses. I have coloured with a mixture of spectrum noir pens and prisma pencils blended with Sansodor, I then matted to some cream, then pink CS and hand sewn around the edge, added a brad and some citrus flowersoft to the centers of the flowers. The DP is from Nana's Nursery, I added a heart border with my MS punch some gorgeous pink ribbon and a blue pearl in the center of the bow. I added some flowers and a pin handmade by me. The sentiment strip is from Pink petticoat, the circle sentiment is from LOTV, the rest are computer generated, I finished off with some aqua dew drops.

Can you tell I love this image from Digi stamp Boutique called cute bird with flowers, My friends are loving it and I am getting a few requests for it, so here is another card.

I have coloured with Prisma pencils blended with Sansodor and this time I have added Flowersoft to the image and a bit of GD, matted to some pink CS, The DP is Dovecraft, I have used a new embossing folder from Papermania which I picked up for £1.20 at Hobbycraft - Bargain!!!

I have added some flowers bought from Crafty Emma's Store and they have pearls and pearl brads in the centers. I have used some polka dot ribbon I think this is Papermania too, and the sentiment at the bottom is from Create with TLC, all the rest are computer generated by me.

Morning everyone, it's a lovely sunny day here in Sheffield, for now anyway. Today I have a boys card, the image is from Sassy Cheryl called Nature boy lover, I have coloured with prisma pencils blended with sansodor, a little tim holtx ink for the sky and matted to some blue CS, the DP is from woodland folk. I added a few sentiment tabs, the dies are from marianne and die-namics and the sentiments are from LOTV, the circle sentiment is Hobby Paleis and this is matted to the same blue CS, finished off with some card candi.

A Nice and simple Boys card.

Just love the way this card came out.

I have matted to some cream CS and hand sewed around the edge and added pearls to the flowers, The DP is from Dovecraft, I added some borders using an MS punch and a X-cut punch, some cream ribbon tied in a bow and a pearl added to the center. The circle sentiment is from LOTV I have matted to a nellie die cut and hand sewed around this. Finished off with some computer generated sentiments, flowers, pearls and that gorgeous pin was hand made by me, I'm very proud of that.

I love doing boys cards, I used to be daunted by them as I like to fill in all the gaps on my cards, I don't know why but I do and it is easy to do that with a girly card.

This little chap is a digi from Victoria Case, I don't know what's happened to her but at the moment you can't buy her digi's, it's just rubber at the mo which is a shame because she is an awesome artist and I miss her stuff.

I have coloured with promarkers, used a brick embossing folder matted to some black CS, added some tabs and stamped the words using LOTV stamps, the circle sentiment is from Hobby Paleis and I finishedoff with some buttons and twine.

For my card I have used a Paper Shelter image called Let's make a picnic, I have coloured with promarkers and prisma pencils, matted to some cream CS, the DP is from forever friends. I have punched out the corners using a flower corner punch and added some pearls in the centre. I finished off with a foam flower with a pearl brad in the centre and the sentiments.

This ittle cutie is called Just a girl from Sugar Nellie.

I have coloured her with prisma pencils blended with Sansodor, I have used a Nellie oval die to cut her out and then I inked around the edge, hand sewn around the edge and added a foam and pearl flower. I then matted some pink gingham CS to some cream CS and added some pink crystal brads in the corners, added the image and then the sentiment from LOTV. The DP is from me to you, I added a double heart border using my MS punchs and some floral ribbon tied in a bow and a pearl added to the center. The top sentiment is from Cats lifepress, I finished off with a gorgeous butterfly cut with a Joy die and I added some pearls.

Just love this new image from Jelly Park called woman dressed up to go out, these digi's are very good value for money.

I have coloured with promarkers for quickness and added a little GD and some gems for her jewellery, and a little Sakura glaze pen for her glass., I have matted to some Papermania DP then some cream CS and added some pearls to the corners and a small sentiment from LOTV. I added a heart border using my MS punch, then some red gingham lace and some ribbon tied in a bow and a pearl brad added to the center. The flower yoyo was made by me and I added a button to the center. The sentiments are from top computer generated and the bottom one is from Cuddly Buddly, finished off with some pearls and flowers

I have been busy with orders from my friends and this is a Mother's day card requested by Antonia a friend from work.

I decided to use a stamp from Ladybugcraftsink called Flower for you Nikki, I have then embossed around her using a crafts too folder, I am loving these frame embossing folders and I have bought them all because they showcase the nikki stamps and stamping bella stamps beautifully. I have coloured her with spectrum noir pens and a bit of GD and I added some swarovski crystals to the center of the flowers and for her earring. The DP is from Dovecraft, I added a fancy border using my flower doily MS punch and then some aqua tulle tied in a bow and a pearl brad to the center, the swirl is a marianne die and I added some crystals to this. The flowers are from Wild orchid crafts and the pearl pin is from my stash. The sentiments are from LOTV (top) and Hobby paleis (bottom), I finished off with some pearls.

I have woken up this morning with a terrible stiff neck, very annoying, on the plus side my Hubby is coming home today from working away, I miss him terribly when he isn't here but he has to go where the work is. Anyway enough of my rambling on today's card is a request from Sandra a friend at work, she wanted to send her mum a mother's day card with her son's photo on the card and this is what I came up with.

The Dp is from Me to you - Spring Chic, I have matted to some cream then teal CS, added a zigzag border with my MS punch, the sentiment strip is from Pink Petticoat and they are half price at the moment and the circle one is from Pink Gem Designs. The photo is mounted in a heart frame, I bought the frame from Ebay years ago so don't know who it is by sorry. I finished off with some pearls and flowers from Wild Orchid crafts, the sentiment below the frame is computer generated and arched.

I have coloured in with Promarkers and sakura glitter and glaze pens and some little gems on her coat, I have matted to some recycled pink floral card I got from an old greeting card ( I get all my friends to bring me their unwanted ones as there are some pretty designs to recycle), the other DP is from Me to you, this is matted to some cream CS, I added some ribbon bought from Kerry at Ladybugcraftsink and added some flower pearls. The card is for my friend Sheryl's Mum, her sister was born on the 29th of Feb and so she has only had 19 official Birthday's and so that is why there is a 19 sentiment on the card.

I hope Beryl likes the card, I loved making it.

I added some white tulle tied in a bow and added a pearl brad to the centre. Finished off with the top sentiment from LOTV and some flowers and pearls from my stash.

Bathtub Nikki

I have been using my Ladybugcraftsink stamps this past week or so, I got them in the half price sale a bit a go. This one is called Bathtub Nikki, she is coloured with Promarkers and sakura glaze pens and I added some GD to the bath foam, I have embossed around her using a cuttlebug folder and rounded the corners off, then punched a hole and threaded some tulle and tied in a bow. The DP is from Dovecraft and Nana's Nursery, I used a flower die cut with a marianne die and added a pearl brad to the centre. Finished off with the sentiments and some pearls.

Buttons & ribbons to me means baby cards lol. So I have decided to use a Penny Johnson stamp called Sleeping on the moon. A card I made for my stash a few weeks ago. I have used a couple of CC Designs stamps one called Mushroom and the other is called Ladybug Nora. I have coloured in with Prisma pencils blended with sansodor and added a little black sakura glaze pen for the spots and a little GD. I masked the images. The DP is woodland folk and I have used a couple of dies I got for Christmas from Magnolia for the fence and grass. The butterflies are made using a MS punch and the sentiment is from Hobby Paleis matted to some nellie dies.

This is another order from one of my friends at work.

Her Daughter is 18 soon and is on a fashion course at college and so she wanted that theme for her card.

I decided to use FashionistaBella, I bought most of the Bella's in a half price sale last year, they were such a bargain I couldn't resist. I have coloured her with Promarkers and cut her out with a sizzix die then stamp a border using a stamp from LOTV and matted to some cream CS then added some gems for the buttons on her waistcoat. The other stamp is a digi from Pink Petticoat and I adore it, I have couloured this one with flexmarkers and added pearls and buttons and hand sewn around the edge. The DP is from Do crafts. I finished off with a bobbin, some pearls and the sentiments.

I am quite pleased how this came out...

My friend Julie requested this card for her Granddaughter Bethany.

I Have used a Karen's Doodles image called Computer Girl, she is coloured in with promarkers and prisma pencils blended with Sansodor. I used spellbinders dies to cut her out then matted her to some pink CS cut with the same set of dies and then embossed, I then added the sentiments. I used my MS heart punch for the border and added some sparkly ribbon and some punched out butterflies. The DP is from do crafts, I finished off with some pearls and that gorgeous layered flower.

I was asked to do a get well card and whenever I think of these flowers pop in my head, and you have probably seen this image a lot on my blog but I love it. It is from Digidoodles shops best and it is called Calliopsis, I have coloured with promarkers. The DP is from do crafts I think, I added a white scallop border, some white satin ribbon, the sentiments are from cuddly buddly and hobby paleis and the big flower is from my stash.

I have started to do some Mother's Day cards and I thought Zumba would be quite popular as it is at work.

I have used an image from Karens Doodles called Dance fever lady 2, she is coloured with Promarkers and a little sakura glitter pen. The DP is from Forever friends, I covered the join i the paper with a scallop border and added some pearls and the sentiment in the centre, the image is matted to some plain blue then blue gingham CS, I finished off with a zumba sentiment which is computer generated and the with love sentiment from the gingerhouse.

This card is for a friend at work, let's just say she is a little windy lol, so this image is perfect for her.

This card is a request from my friend Sue, she wanted a card with a music theme so I chose this stamp set from Papermania called Nostalgia pastimes.

I have coloured with Prisma pencils and blended with Sansodor, then matted to some Kraft then black CS, the DP is from Forever friends, I used a sizzix circle die to create the edges. I finished off with some buttons, twine and card candi.

The circle sentiment is made with a stamp set from Ladybugcrafts ink, I use it a lot. The other sentiments are computer generated.

Fairy Birthday

I just love the LOTV stamps, I have most of them, I just can't help myself lol.

This is a card for my stash, I have used papers from Forever friends, added a scallop border, I punched a hole in the image and threaded the ribbon through before tying in a bow, I finished off with sentiments from Ladybugcrafts ink and pink gem designs, some pearls and butterflies were added also and the flower.

I know I haven't been about blogland lately, I am sorry about that. I have been having trouble with my internet connection the last 2 weeks and I finally got it sorted today thank goodness.

The weather is horrid, I had to abandon my car on the way home from work on Saturday night, my car just wouldn't grip and I didn't want to burn the clutch out so I left it as did many others and walked home, I left work at 8pm and didn't get home until 10.30pm and usually it's a 15 minute drive. When I got home my Hubby said we couldn't leave the car where I left it as it would get broken in to, so we set off again and walked to fetch it. Hubby pushed me most of the way home. There is no way the roads had been gritted, any way thank goodness I now have 5 days off work.

Romantic Stroll

I was asked to do an Anniversary card for a friend at work and she wanted a beach theme. I always start to panic when my customers want specific theme's, it makes me go all hot lol. Anyway an image popped in my head which I knew I had seen on the fab Sue's blog, she drew this image herself, she is so so talented and I visit her blog often for tips and techniques and of course the odd freebie.

I have coloured this image with prisma pencils blended with Sansodor, and then I decided to frame it using a sizzix frame die. The DP is from Dovecraft, I added a button and some twine and a heart charm. The circle sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly and the rest are computer generated by me. The hearts are die cut with a nellie die and the zigzag border is a MS punch.

She loved the card and so did her Hubby.

Little Snowman'

Before I get to my card I have had the most traumatic morning. I took my lurcher's for their walk today and I go on a local field, I let them off the lead to have a run around as they have lots of energy to get rid of, that was fine, then we set off home and I noticed Alfie was limping and holding his front leg up so I had a look and he had cut his pad really deep and the blood was just gushing from it, so I had to pick him up and carry him and try and rush him home to get a better look, I bathed it and still it was bleeding, it was very deep so I had to call the vet, he said I should take him in for a look which I did and he has had to have stitches in it and he flushed some glass out, so now I am back home with a bandaged up lurcher and at he moment he is fast asleep. So I think from now on I am going to have to be more vigilant when I let them run off the lead. It just makes me so mad that people don't clear up after themselves.

So now have a card to show you, I made this a while ago, I love the aqua DP from Dovecraft and I won't be happy when it's gone. I have forgotten where I got the stamp from as I have thrown the packaging away. LOTV Christmas card

Another Christmas card using an LOTV die cut, I have used a lot of these this Christmas and they are a godsend when you don't have much time.

I have used some GD on the image and punched off the edges, then matted to some red CS, the |DP's are from Dovecraft, I have added a red gingham ribbon and yes it looks orange on here but it is red lol. I added some poinsettia's, berrys and pins all bought from Hobbycraft. The chipboard bauble I have had about 5 years, I found it when I was having a tidy in my craft room. The circle sentiment is from LOTV too, and I finished off with some pearls and dew drops bought from Ebay, oh and the top sentiment is computer generated.

Nick with presents

This is a Digi from Bizzy Becs store, he's called Nick with presents, I have coloured him with promarkers and added a little sakura glitter pen here and there. The DP is from Dovecraft, I have added a double zig zag border using my MS punch, added some green twine and finished off with the sentimentsand some green card candi.

Christmas eve Birthday

This card is a request from my friend Sue.

I decided to use a Bugaboo image because they are nice and easy to colour in, this one is called Ruby November, she is coloured with promarkers and I added some GD then matted to some red CS, the gorgeous DP is from Papermania, I added a pink scallop border and some pearls and some tulle tied in a bow, a poinsettia with a red crytsal brad in the centre and some sentiments, the top left is computer generated and matted to a die cut using a memory box die, the ticket is from pink gem designs, and the circle sentiment is from LOTV and I computer generated the Christmas Eve in the centre.

Christmas Baubles

I love this stamp from LOTV called Christmas baubles, I have used a lot for this years Christmas cards.

I have coloured with Promarkers and added some glossy accents to the baubles and matted to some Kraft CS, The word CS is from my local craft shop this is matted to some silver mirror CS, The DP is from Dovecraft, I added some cream lace, white poinsettia's and some pearls. The top stamp I stamped straight onto the DP and I got this from Elzybells, The circle sentiments are from LOTV as well. The big circle sentiment comes with some relation stamps but the lady I did this card for wanted Mam so I computer generated the Mam and then stamped the circle sentiment, the possibilities are endless and I have used this on other cards by putting children's names in brilliant.

I love these stamps they are called Uptown girls from Stamping bella, this one is called Posh has a present, I have coloured her with spectrum noir paens and added some GD then matted to some pink gingham CS and then some kanban DP and some silver mirror CS, The other DP is from Dovecraft, I have trimmed the corners with an inverted corner punch, I added a doily and some pearls, some tulle tied in a bow, a red heart and lots of different sentiments and some dew drops.

Christmas Wedding

This card is a request from a friend at work.

I have used an image from Lauretta's called Wedding Cake, I have used this image a few times as I love it so much and it works for everyone.

I have coloured with promarkers and embellished with GD, then I embossed the frame around the image and matted to some DP from Dovecraft. I added a heart border with my MS heart doily punch then added the ribbon and tied in a bow and attached the white poinsettia and the roses. The embellishments in the corners are from Ebay. I finished off with a ticket sentiment from pink gem designs, a sentiment strip from pink petticoat, and I stamped the top sentiment straight on to the Dp this stamp is from stamping all day, the top left circle sentiment is computer generated and I matted to a gorgeous circle made with a memory box die ( loving these I nearly have them all lol). I finished off with a gorgeous felt rose using a marianne die and added a silver heart brad to the centre, and some pearls.

Another Christmas card, I have used Digistamp boutique again, I just love their stamps. The image is retired noew, which is a shame.

The DP's are from Dovecraft and Papermania, I added some red twine and a button and tied in a bow. Finished off with a ticket sentiment from Pink Gem designs a circle sentiment from Hobby Paleis, some card candi and a wooden tree.

For my card I have used a LOTV square and blinged up with GD and fun flock, matted to some red gingham CS then some dovecraft DP then some white CS and added some red dew drops to the corners and the december sentiment from bethanys elegant word art. I used my MS zigzag punch for the border and added a gorgeous silver mesh ribbon and tied in a bow, finished off with a silver snowflake with a teal pearl in the centre and the other sentiments from create with TLC and LOTV, the bottom one is computer generated.

50th Birthday

I love how this card turned out, the image is from the fab Mo Manning, it's called Potters Bench, I have had this image a while and thought it should get used. I have coloured the whole thing with Prisma pencils blended with sansodor and it's come out fab I must use my pencils more often. I have used papers from Nan's Nursery, added some photo corners and a basic grey button and attached a watering can charm, finished off with some pearls and the circle sentiment is from Create with TLC.

We have a brand new challenge for you at Anything goes, the theme is anything but a card.

I decided to make a tag for a friends present and went with this sassy image from Kenny K called Mistletoe, sheis coloured with promarkers and embellished with fun flock ( just love this stuff). I then matted to some red mirror card and added a glitter snowflake border using a tim holtz on the edge die, finished off with a circle sentiment.

Ice Skating Poppy

Oh I just love Digistamp Boutique images very good value and easy to colour.

This little lady is called Ice skating poppy, she is colored with promarkers, embellished with pearls and fun flock I then framed her using a sizzix frame die, the DP is from Kanban, I added a double border using my MS pin needle punch and a blue sparkle ribbon to hide the seam, the large snowflake is a memory box die and I used the middle to add to the ribbon waste not want not lol. The sentiment at the bottom is Kanban too and I matted this to a circle cut with a memory box die and added some twine. Finished off with some more pearls and puffy blue hearts, the other circle sentiment is from LOTV and the strip one is computer generated.
